Why HALFAR® thinks in product series.

Sometimes, everything feels right.

The colour works. The material feels good. The size is right. The features make sense. There is just one problem: a backpack is not actually what is needed. That is exactly why many products at Halfar are not developed as standalone items, but as part of a series.

Because when a particular design language feels right, the right solution does not always have to be one single model. For one project, a travel bag may be the better choice. For another, a laptop bag. Or perhaps a team needs to look consistent, even though different people have very different requirements.

Product series create that flexibility. They bring together products that follow the same idea, while each taking on a different role.

The following series are examples from the HALFAR® range. They show how differently bags can be designed – and how one idea can become an entire product world.

EUROPE: Urban mobility. Understated by design.

Anyone who is often on the move will know the situation: a bag needs to be functional, offer enough space and, ideally, still look appropriate at a client meeting. The EUROPE series was developed precisely for this kind of requirement.

Clean lines, reduced shapes and high-quality details define the character of the products. Instead of drawing attention through bold design, EUROPE relies on understatement. The result is modern, professional and pleasantly calm.

Beneath that clear exterior, however, are carefully considered functions. Padded laptop compartments, practical organization options, comfortable carrying systems and useful travel features support everyday working life as much as business travel.

The laptop backpacks in the series are particularly popular. They combine the comfort of a modern backpack with a look that also feels right in a professional setting.

The outer materials include fabrics made with fibers from recycled PET. The series is produced in Europe. In this way, EUROPE combines high-quality workmanship with a considered approach to resources.

PURE: Less distraction. More character.

Some products stand out because they are loud.

PURE does the opposite.

The series is defined by clean surfaces, reduced design and materials that feel as good as they look. The soft PU outer material with a textile content made from recycled fibers gives the series a high-quality feel and its own distinct character.

At the same time, PURE is far more than simply attractive. Water-repellent zips, reinforced bases, carefully designed interiors and comfortable carrying systems make the products reliable companions for working on the move, commuting and travelling.

From the laptop backpack to the sports/travel bag, laptop sleeve and zipped pouch, the series shows how one shared idea can be translated into very different areas of use.

PURE is designed for people who are looking for modern functionality without compromising on contemporary design.

LOOP: Still young at heart. And ready for more.

Some bags feel familiar straight away.

LOOP is one of them.

The series combines a modern retro feel with fresh colours, lightweight materials and uncomplicated features. It feels friendly, accessible and simply enjoyable to use.

At the same time, there is much more behind LOOP than an attractive look. The models offer generous branding areas, an appealing price point and versatile possibilities for use. That makes the series particularly suitable for promotional campaigns, recruiting activities, clubs, universities or merchandise projects.

The LOOP daypack captures the character of the series especially well: youthful design, strong recognition value and enough space for everything everyday life brings with it. The new LOOP sports/travel bag extends this idea with additional flexibility and can even be carried as a backpack.

LOOP shows that contemporary branded carriers do not have to look like traditional promotional products.

SOLID: For everyone who likes to keep things organized.

Some people throw everything into one large main compartment and still find what they need immediately.

Most of us probably do not.

SOLID was developed for everyone who likes to stay organized while on the move.

Whether it is a laptop, charging cable, lunch box, travel documents or sportswear – the products in the series offer a wide range of organization options and intelligent details for a more structured day.

The SOLID laptop backpack stands out with its fully opening main compartment, carefully designed interior layout, padded laptop compartment, several organization pockets and ergonomic carrying system. Even a concealed compartment for an AirTag and an insulated pocket for a lunch box have been considered.

The SOLID sports/travel bag follows the same principle. Generous storage space, a separate shoe compartment, interior organization options and flexible carrying solutions help ensure that everything has its place.

SOLID combines overview, comfort and functionality with a modern, high-quality look. A series for everyone who would rather avoid searching than spend time looking.

OUTDOOR: Designed for movement.

Whether cycling to work, heading to sport or hiking at the weekend: anyone who is frequently on the move quickly notices the difference between simply carrying a backpack and carrying one that sits well. This is where the OUTDOOR series begins.

Comfort, ergonomics and function are clearly at the center of the design. The products were developed for people who are outside and in motion.

This is particularly evident in the backpacks. Ergonomic back padding with ventilation systems, individually adjustable carrying systems and numerous attachment options help keep equipment comfortable to carry, even on longer tours.

But this is not only about classic outdoor activities. These features also come into their own when cycling, in club life, on day trips or in an active everyday routine.

The comparison with EUROPE is particularly interesting. Both series offer a high level of carrying comfort. While EUROPE integrates function and comfort into an urban business look, OUTDOOR makes its functionality deliberately visible.

Why series are interesting for companies.

In practice, series are rarely purchased as a complete collection. More often, something else happens. A company discovers a backpack whose design feels right. Later, it becomes clear that for the actual use case, a travel bag, laptop bag or another model may be more suitable.

That is exactly where the strength of product series lies. The shared idea remains, while the right model can be selected according to budget, target group and application.

This creates solutions for employee equipment, onboarding, business travel, events, customer gifts, merchandise projects or club outfitting - without having to start from scratch every time.


Conclusion: The bag is the answer.

In the end, it is not about whether a bag has a roll-top closure, a shoe compartment or three additional zipped pockets. What matters is how well it suits the people who will use it every day.

That is why Halfar thinks in series.

Not because products should all look the same. But because different people have different requirements. Sometimes the focus is on working on the move. Sometimes on perfect organization. Sometimes on the route to the gym, the next business trip or a weekend in the mountains.
