FAQ
The areas of application and industries for which HALFAR® has already manufactured bags and technical textiles are diverse. See our references here.
The production and delivery time depends on the scope of the project, as well as the production location.
We produce prototypes and small series at our company headquarters in Bielefeld. Larger runs are produced in other European countries and Asia.
REACH, LFGB, RoHS, VDA standards and CALIFORNIA P65 as well as MDR (for products that flow into medical technology), are just a few examples of standards and regulations that we can take into account during production. We draw on decades of experience in many different industries and are happy to provide consulting and educational services in this regard. Please contact us!
At HALFAR®, we value absolute reliability and the best quality. This includes strict quality management according to DIN ISO 9001:2015.
At our production sites, we also ensure the quality of our bags through regular checks and audits, defined release processes and our own quality inspectors.
A sustainable corporate policy is just as important to us as respecting human rights, maintaining occupational health and safety, and implementing social standards. HALFAR® is committed to this, among other things, as a DIN 14001:2015-certified and climate-neutral company, as well as a member of the amfori BSCI. When choosing the right material for a technical bag or a technical textile, not only aesthetic but also functional aspects and, depending on the intended use, standards or similar must be taken into account. For example, in medical technology we use materials that comply with MDR/biocompatibility.
In addition to common materials such as polyester, truck tarpaulin and polyamide, special fibers such as Cordura® or recycled polyester also come into question. Read more about this in the HALFAR® blog.
